Poland Revitalization Committee

The Revitalization Committee would like to thank all of those who helped with the 1^st annual Pick-Up Poland Day in May. It was a success and we hope to see everyone help clean up the Village again next year.

We are in the process of ordering welcome signs to the Village that will be placed at the three entrances. Be looking for them in the next month or so.

We are also planning our second annual Chicken BBQ and Chinese Auction to be held on Sunday September 7^th at the Town Park. If anyone would like to donate items to the Chinese Auction, please contact Lynn Miller at 826-3772. We hope to see you there!

Raffle time again... If you haven't already seen our raffle tickets or been asked to purchase one, they are available from Revitalization Committee Members and at the following businesses: Gravesville Store, Sweetie Pies Bakery, Main Street Chiropractic, Creekview Automotive, C & D's Market, Flowers for You, Gayle's Beauty Salon, Kuyahoora Outdoor Center, Unlimited Expectations by Tonya, and West Canada Creek Campsites. This year we are having a cash raffle with three prizes: 1^st prize $1000, 2^nd prize $300 and 3^rd prize $200. Tickets are $3 each or 2/$5. Our fundraising efforts this year will be going toward refurbishing the fountain in the center of the Village. We will be drawing this year's winners at the Village Stroll on December 6^th.

Speaking of the Village Stroll.... There will be a meeting to discuss this year's stroll on Monday July 21^st at 7 p.m. at Sweetie Pies Bakery & Café. All are welcome to attend and share their ideas. You can also call Krista Stupka, the Stroll Chairperson, directly at 826-3781 with any ideas. We are also going to be taking donations for the house decorating contest again, so if anyone is interested in donating please let Krista or any Revitalization Member know. The parade, tree lighting ceremony, and sleigh rides will also be held again this year.
