Parking Ban

There is to be NO parking of vehicles between

the hours of 9:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.

on streets in the Village of Poland between

November 1st and April 1st.

This includes the parking areas along Main Street on both sides of the street between the library & Main Street Chiropractic and both sides of the street between the DiTata residence and Tonya's Unlimited Expectations Hair Salon.

This will allow snow removal personnel and equipment to be able to do their job efficiently without parked vehicles hampering the snow removal process. As this has been a problem each year in the past, we hope to avoid writing letters to violators or having parking tickets issued so everyone's cooperation is truly appreciated. Thank You.

Complaint Form

The Village of Poland has a complaint form available to anyone who has a village related complaint to report.  The form is available at the Village Office or on the Village website.  On the homepage, click Departments and under Village Office you will find the document.  Once the form is complete you can return it to the Village Office or Email to vpoland@ntcnet.com  Once the form is recieved, it will be reviewed by the Village Board and promptly handled.

Thank you for your cooperation.

If you live on South Main Street in the village of Poland, and you reside in the Town of Newport (which is from the Community Baptist Church of Poland towards Newport) and you have a dog, your dog needs to have a current license. If you need a current license for your dog(s), please stop down to the Newport Town Barn and we can resolve it. It is a New York State law that all dogs have a current rabies vaccination, and current dog license.

I have met the Village Of Poland Animal Control Officer, Marc Costantine, and he is doing a great job. I am working with him to get licenses for all the village's dogs.

For my office hours, please call 845-8340 as they change from Summer to Winter.
